When the new year started I was wondering what I’d get myself into. It just so happens to be running. I used to love running, and then it just kind of dropped off my radar. Our first plant of the new year, a cactus. We’re not sure exactly how to pronounce his scientific name, but we’re calling him Allen. He is set outside on our metal patio table, and of course Sookie wanted to get to know him.
I’ve been working with Sookie on how to chase, and retrieve, the tennis ball. Needless to say that she only has the first part down, but every now and then she’ll surprise and drop it by my feet. …
