Gather your eggs and prepare them for boiling.
Fill a pot with water enough to cover the eggs and turn up the heat. Once the water boils turn on your timer and let them boil for about 20 minutes. I like to let them boil a little longer but that’s just my preference.
When they are finished drain the water carefully and remove the eggs to place on a dry paper towel. Let these eggs cool completely before dying.
