Last weekend was another long weekend for all of us. Summer took that Monday off, and we attempted to go to the movies again hoping that hardly anyone would be there. NOPE! It was a Spring Break for our surrounding school districts, so the parking lot was packed. That’s okay, we came early this time.

Our first plant of the new year, a cactus. We’re not sure exactly how to pronounce his scientific name, but we’re calling him Allen. He is set outside on our metal patio table, and of course Sookie wanted to get to know him.
I’ve been working with Sookie on how to chase, and retrieve, the tennis ball. Needless to say that she only has the first part down, but every now and then she’ll surprise and drop it by my feet. …
