I made scones Sunday night and we all loved them! The only bad thing was I forgot to put the milk back in the refrigerator and it stayed on the counter all night. So I ruined the new gallon of milk we just bought the day before. :( Howard forgave me though because the scones I made were so delicious.
He even took them to work today. Yay!

Our first plant of the new year, a cactus. We’re not sure exactly how to pronounce his scientific name, but we’re calling him Allen. He is set outside on our metal patio table, and of course Sookie wanted to get to know him.
I’ve been working with Sookie on how to chase, and retrieve, the tennis ball. Needless to say that she only has the first part down, but every now and then she’ll surprise and drop it by my feet. …
