“Come on, let’s go in the car … ” is our dog’s favorite thing to hear. She runs right to where her leash hangs and wags her little tail like she is trying to pick up radio signals. We both get into the car, not before she has to sniff & bark at everything first, and make our way to the … VET!

Yeah, today was Marla’s six-month check-up. She is so excited right up until we pull into the parking lot, then she knows. Although, today she wasn’t as nervous as she usually is (maybe because no other dogs were there.)

One of our long-time friends, William, recently had some computer troubles. In fact he somehow got one of those fake scanning your computer viruses, which are usually more annoying than harmful. He came over, I fixed it, (threw around the ol’ pigskin), no problem. Well, a couple of days later he said there where some other problems (a little more simpler this time around). Anyways, yesterday when Summer and I went to go return it to his workplace, Starbucks, he was like, “Hey, you all want some tea?” Hmm, I was unaware that they sold tea as I usually only stick to 3 specific drinks and try not to venture off of them at all.

I decided on the Passion and Summer wanted the Green Tea. Let’s just say that I now find myself not wanting to go to Starbucks for coffee anymore. Their flavored tea is incredible! Just what I am going to need on these hot Summer days coming up.

She ain’t afraid of no ghost!!!! She’s a barkin’ fool that brings her entourage with her…Sookie. :D

Yay!!!! I love them! Thank you kiddos for the glasses. :D

We finally went to the eye doctor … excuse me, optometrist … which has been long over due, especially for Summer. I know she’s been needing new glasses and contacts for awhile now, and yesterday she ordered both. Thanks insurance. It was a pleasant experience and the doctor was extremely nice. She didn’t even scorn me when I didn’t want to do that “eye puff” test. Honestly, who likes that?!

On occasion I have been having some insanely red eyes, but I am usually unaware because they don’t itch or both me. Hopefully the problem was discovered and now I have an even longer “before bed” routine which involves wiping/cleaning my eyelids with a special soapy cloth and applying 2 different types of eye drops, one being artificial tears.
