1. iPhone Application:
   • I just started using this one App called “Sleep Cycle” and I think it’s neat for those of you into tracking your sleeping habits. The application uses the iPhone’s super sensitive accelerometer to track your sleep movement in order to wake you at your moment of lightest sleep. So far I’ve been treating it as a normal alarm clock by turning it off and then going back to sleep. J Maybe one day I will be able to use it correctly and find that it is indeed a nifty app to have.
   • Instagram has to be one of my favorite apps of all time! I almost feel like I cannot live without it. The simple design is what I love best because it’s so easy to pull out my phone and take/edit a photo in seconds. I do have an account and if you wish to follow me my username is schmorie.

1. Books:
   • Last weekend Howard and I checked out the local used bookstore’s semi-annual sale and left with a huge tote bag of books and five dollars less in our pockets. This sale is something I look forward to every summer and fall while Howard dreads going. Every time we go I find some of the most random books you can imagine. This time I walked out of there with a giant book about Cleopatra by Margaret George. Howard always gives me crap about having too many books in the house and wants me to get rid of them but I just can’t. I love my books and they will follow me wherever I go. Sorry! :D
   • I found Mansfield Park by Jane Austen and it feels so nice. The pages are aged a bit and the pages turn perfectly!

1. Journal Writing:
   • Another reason I have not posted is because recently I have been a little obsessed with my “old school” journal. I remember sitting in my room and writing for what seemed like forever. The entries back then were probably about boy bands and LOTR because I was a boring teenager. No joke. I was obsessed with LOTR and Orlando Bloom. How old is he now anyway? All I can think about some days is how much I want to sit in front of a window with my coffee and write. You would think I’d love to do the same for the online blog but it just feels better to write some things out.

1. Photography:
   • I have been taking photos it’s just I have not had the time to edit them. The past couple of weeks have been crazy and work has taken over my desk at home. I will soon get those photos out to everybody. Just be patient.
   • I am super excited to be getting my new camera soon. We’ve saved a little money on the side to upgrade my DSLR and I’m stoked!

After writing all of this I realized I’m just a happy person and I love my life.

You will need:

A blender

Frozen strawberries, blueberries, mango chunks, and mixed berries

Four ice cubes

1 cup of V-8 Vfusion Peach Mango

1 scoop of protein powder

A large cup

Pour 1 cup of Vfusion juice into the blender

Throw in some strawberries and mixed berries

Add a few mango chunks (I would say around 4)

Toss in some blueberries

Add about four ice cubes

Pour in a scoop of protein powder (I like using GNC Lean Shake)

Your mixture should look like this.

Now cover with the lid and blend!!

Pour into a glass and enjoy!!!!!!

Fill a pot with water enough to cover the eggs and turn up the heat. Once the water boils turn on your timer and let them boil for about 20 minutes. I like to let them boil a little longer but that’s just my preference.

When they are finished drain the water carefully and remove the eggs to place on a dry paper towel. Let these eggs cool completely before dying.

While the eggs cool start punching out the holes behind the box.

Collect six cups and pour ½ a cup of warm water in to each. Then add 3 tablespoons of distilled vinegar.

Add color tablet and stir!

Now dunk your cooled egg and wait about 5minutes.

Pull that baby out and you’ve got some vibrantly colored Easter Eggs!

One: These flowers I bought from the 99cent store and they are flourishing in my backyard. I think they’re so pretty sitting on my patio table.

Two: Oh my goodness! Look how green that grass is! If only it weren’t riddled with poop mounds.

Three: Jane Austen. I could read her books all day long if I had the time. Pride and Prejudice is my weakness. I wish I was Elizabeth Bennet.

Four: The Hunger Games! I was trying so hard not to knock this book before I read it and I’m glad I didn’t. This book is probably a favorite of mine at the moment. There are so many intense moments that I found it hard not to dream about The Games at night. I definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting a new and exciting trilogy to read. I am currently reading Catching Fire and I am loving it just as much as the first book. Whatever critics are saying about the second book being lame…don’t listen. They’re just trying to find something to gripe about. I think it’s setting up the final book beautifully!

Five: I have to talk to baby Sook in order for her to look at the camera. She usually pays zero attention to me and prefers to lick her butt instead.

Six: After a couple of shots she gets tired and falls asleep leaving me to improvise on the situation.

Seven: She wakes up and hears Howard coming down the hallway. As you can see she is a daddy’s girl.

Eight: Sookie is annoyed at this point and wishes me to leave but I refuse.

Nine: One last look before she runs away and hides. I’m serious. She HATES her picture being taken.

Ten: Caught her hiding behind the couch.

Eleven: My weapons of choice. Not shown here is the Nikon I use for most of my photos.

We did a little reorganizing and decided to set time aside and update like little crazy animals. Coming your way are more photos, videos…and well that’s pretty much all we’ve got. Haha. Easter is around the corner and you’ll get an update on that cool holiday too! Mmm..I love eggs.
