Shoe scramble
Posted in Daily Life by Howard | Tags: Converse, search, shoes, shopping, store, TargetRare items, whether it be in a video game or real life, are always fun to search for. At first you may start to doubt the fact that you’ll never find them, but in the end you feel accomplished and treat whatever you looked for with care because only you understand the time and effort that went in to finding it.
Last week Summer decided to take a little trip to Target during her lunch break. While moseying around the store, I should say of course, she ends up in the shoe section. This is where the search begins. She calls me and let’s me know the exact kind she is looking for and, again of course, they’re sold out of her size. This is the gem she tried to dig up.

Well she gets home that night, and we visit the Target near our house, and rummage through every box on the shelf because she told me that people just throw anything into any box. What a genius stocking system. After flipping open nearly 150 shoebox tops … nothing. The night was dead, and no end was in sight.
A couple of days pass and we take a semi-long drive to our old side of town. We decide we’ll knock out all the Target stores one by one. We must find these. This location isn’t as, how should I say this, appealing as many of the others we’ve entered. Maybe it was the location, but that doesn’t explain the lack of maintenance of store appearance. Hand in hand we hurried to the only section worth scoping out. I usually take the top shelf due to our height difference (makes sense). The first box I open … WINNER!
I love putting a giant Kool-aid smile on her face! My job here is done.
