Clipboard Upgrade
Posted in Daily Life by Howard | Tags: clipboard, gift, upgrade, workFor about 2 years or so I have been using the same, ol’ clipboard everyday. It’s nothing special, just the only one I could find when I started working at my job.
Coincidentally, the only thing I left freely (not locked up) on my desk that has yet to disappear. Maybe it has no value to anyone else, but if I came into work one morning and it was missing all work would cease until it’s retrieval.
A couple of days ago, I received a gift from Mark, an employee. On my desk I found this shiny, new clipboard which came coplete with a plastic, non-breakable backing and calculator clip that’s solar-powered. Woohoo!
As with many new versions it had some faults like the clip being controled by the weakest spring ever, soI am assuming that when I drop this one my papers will scatter. And the calculator doesn’t have an auto-off timer, it will stay on forever until you turn it off, which isn’t a big concern because I’ll probably never turn it on.
