Merry Christmas!

The girls, our 2 dogs, and I have been working on this site for Summer since the beginning of December. She has her own little blog and like 1 million journals, but I figured that since she got a new laptop for Christmas it would be lovely for her to post her stuff here. And then, in like 20 … 30 … 50 years, this website will have become a nice little scrapbook for us (since I find normal scrapbooking rather time consuming, not that I’ve tried.) But, never-the-less, we will try to keep up with it as much as we can … not that I actually care who reads this because it’s mainly for our family, but if others want to read go ahead.

I plan to post family videos/pictures, updates on the house, stuff I hate or am thinking, etc. I think some of the categories & pages give most of it away, but pretty much anything & possibly everything I can that I would love to look back on one day. It just seems now that we have so many different hard drives, and folders with different pictures & videos, and we talk about so much stuff as a married couple that means a lot to me, but sometimes I just can’t remember – I want it all in one place at one time. Also, since everything is on a separate server (including our own) we won’t have to go through the issue of losing valuable memories again. Not good. We don’t have boxes of Polaroids; we have a disk with moving parts that is streaming electricity through it … bound to fail. Of course, user error is calculated too!

I have a lot more to do, and add but it’s a work in progress. I just hope she likes it and doesn’t laugh in my face as usual.

P.S. – Spell check thinks I spelled “doesn’t” incorrectly … WTF!?
